Swans

Additional Details

This quilt was a part of the “Women of Taste” book and traveling exhibition, which was a series of collaborations between quilt artists and women chefs. My chef was Loan Co, who is a pastry chef in San Francisco. The image of “Swans” was taken from a photo of one of her beautiful sugar sculptures. Loan Co is also a master of wedding cakes, so I chose the heart shape for the quilt and I used white lace for some of the trim and wedding dress fabric for the swans.
